Meissen set "Golden Chinese". Such sets were produced in Meissen, but the gold design was added by special workshops in Augsburg. The "Golden Chinese" were painted by the brothers Seuter, who modelled their Chinese after travel books published in Augsburg. 1730LPhoto Credit:Erich Lessing / Art Resource, NYImage Reference:ART209682Image size:4000 X 2595 px
